We are a landscape architecture practice working at the intersection of planning, environment and design. We provide strategic landscape consultancy for development projects and private clients across Suffolk, East Anglia and beyond, supporting work from early feasibility through to detailed design, technical resolution and delivery.

Landscape-led thinking is grounded in a detailed understanding of place and is informed by the concept of genius loci — the “spirit of the place”. This describes the distinctive atmosphere that emerges from the interaction of landform, built form, ecology, climate & cultural history. Each site is shaped by a combination of physical and perceptual factors. Landform, soils, hydrology, vegetation patterns, sunlight, views & microclimate define the structure of the landscape, while seasonal change, historic land use and cultural narratives contribute to its identity over time. Together, these elements create the unique character of a place.

LANDSCAPE DESIGN

We work with private clients to design landscapes that are environmentally responsive, practical & visually engaging. We design landscapes that are responsive rather than prescribed — shaped by context, use & long-term environmental behaviour rather than fixed aesthetic templates. Each project develops its own internal logic, informed by how people will inhabit, move through and maintain the space over time. Each design is informed by site context, user needs & long-term environmental performance. 

 

Our design work moves between structure & detail, from the organisation of space to the experience of planting, materiality & movement. We balance balances aesthetics with function, ensuring that outdoor spaces are both usable & meaningful. Our designs are developed with a strong emphasis on biodiversity, water management & the reinforcement of long-term landscape character. Biodiversity, water & soil systems are not treated as separate technical inputs, but as active design drivers. Planting is used to establish spatial hierarchy & seasonal change; water is considered as both visible & hidden infrastructure & ecological value is embedded as a fundamental condition of the design rather than an add-on.
