WELCOME TO OUR STUDIO IN THE HEART OF SUFFOLK

East Anglia, is a truly remarkable place with its beautiful beaches, riverine areas & undulating landscapes.

The natural vegetation of the Suffolk Coast & Heaths is mainly coastal shingle, heaths, woodland & grassland.

In Norfolk, saltmarshes, sand dunes, fens, marshes, swamps are prominent coastal landscapes, with heaths & woodlands occurring too.

The underlying rolling geology is that of chalk.

A mix of sand, gravels & clay overlays this, typifying the dynamic coastline & inland areas that make up East Anglia.

This region boasts a variety of native flora and the fauna that are so dependant on it.

Historically, natural landscapes have been affected by human activity in the form of farming and development.

This change has been for the benefit of people such as you & I, as we look to nourish our bodies with food from crops & livestock, farmed on the very same soil on which nature is dependant.

As human populations multiply, the pressure on the natural environment & resources increases too.

Climate & seasonal changes not only affect the ability of farmers to produce, but also may have a profound affect on the inhabitants in nature that often do not have a voice.

We seek to contribute to this natural landscape & landscape character in positive ways

while also looking at how places & spaces may be developed for human use.
